IoT Solutions | The future of industrial production has come to be known as the Industrial Internet, Industry 4.0, or cyber-physical systems. The opportunity to use a multitude of data to produce and supply goods in a more efficient and flexible way, while also saving resources and achieving better quality, ultimately depends on the reliability of the data input for the process chain – and the sensors that record real-time situations and convert these into digital signals. SICK started focusing its corporate claim on the future as early as 2004: “Sensor Intelligence.” epitomizes our clear focus on sensor technology as a data provider for the intelligent factory, making it the most fundamental module for providing the highest possible levels of transparency in the supply chain. | The Internet of Things (IoT) is the network of physical objects accessed through the Internet—essentially a "Connected Everything Platform." These objects contain embedded technology to interact with internal states or the external environment. When objects can sense and communicate, it changes how and where decisions are made, and who makes them.
IoT is connecting new places—such as manufacturing floors, energy grids, healthcare facilities, and transportation systems—to the Internet. When an object can represent itself digitally, it can be controlled from anywhere. This connectivity means more data, gathered from more places, with more ways to: increase efficiency, innovate in product development, increase asset utilization, enhance the customer experience, streamline the supply chain, and improve safety and security.
Hitachi Consulting helps apply IoT solutions to drive business value, ultimately allowing companies to be IoT innovators and become an "Enterprise of Things." Companies can learn more about Hitachi Consulting's products, solutions and expertise and how they leverage the diverse product portfolio of Hitachi to help enterprises quickly get value out of IoT capabilities. | The Internet of Things (IoT) is fueling innovation in products, services and solutions that improve building operations and performance.

Modernization, Training & Mission Support We help the world's specialists get ready for the missions that matter most. Advanced Tech This is tech with purpose. We engineer. We code. We research. We patent. We publish. But we do it not for flashy product reveals or to be the first to market. We do it because what we make matters. | Overview & Value Proposition:
L&T Technology Services delivers IoT applications across the lifecycle using home grown and third party frameworks, platforms and accelerators. We engage with our customers to contribute in their IoT and M2M strategies and roadmap; develop, deploy and commission business ready M2M applications; integrate these applications to enterprise or cloud; implement custom or commercially available IoT/M2M platforms; and enable sensing capabilities on their custom or off the shelf hardware.
We aim to strengthen our position in digital engineering through investments in IoT, M2M and Smart Manufacturing technologies or through acquisitions in product software, Embedded Software and computing.
We focus on building a portfolio of solutions-oriented engineering services that can be applied across verticals. As part of this strategy, we closely follow the technology trends in the ER&D industry and have focused on key technology areas that we believe will impact the various verticals in which we operate. These key technology areas include digital engineering, mobile internet, IoT (IIoT, mBIoT), automation of knowledge, advanced robotics, autonomous and near-autonomous vehicles, energy efficiency and imaging and video. We intend to focus on solutions in these areas and build cross-domain solutions that can be applied to the businesses of our existing and prospective customers across verticals that could help drive non-linear revenue growth for the company. In order to execute this strategy, we are also building and strengthening our alliances with technology companies. We aim to develop industry-specific use cases for such solutions and then customise these solutions as per the specific requirements of our customers.
We have developed mature IoT solutions such as UbiqWeise™ and iBEMS™ in emerging technology areas to support our customers. For example, one of our construction industry customers, who has various types of construction equipment and machinery spread across global project sites, collects operational data on a near real-time basis, which is then sent to a cloud platform. The data is then processed using applied analytics on our UbiqWeise™ platform to provide insights on information such as operational efficiency and Preventive Maintenance schedules. For another customer, we provide smart services solutions in process improvement, waste reduction and improvement in yields. Our solutions are aimed at addressing specific problems by introducing advanced sensors and analytics technologies to detect anomalies at an early stage of production. As a result, our solutions enable reduction of the rejection rates of the products.
IoT Labs
We have entered into alliances with several IoT players. For example, we established a joint IoT lab with a global network solutions provider to explore opportunities in transportation, manufacturing and smart cities. We have set up a Smart Manufacturing lab has been set up to address difficulties faced by process and discrete manufacturing plants, as well as to develop and integrate intelligent automation solutions for Smart Manufacturing. These manufacturing areas include process optimization, smart utilities, connectivity and mobility, Tracking quality checks, touchless operations, OEM integration, and smart machine controls. | In the near future, billions of pieces of equipment will be connected to one another and massive amounts of data will pouring in. Advanced algorithms, high-powered computing, better connectivity and cloud storage all facilitate the emergence of smart systems. Knowing how to leverage the respective opportunities, however, requires a unique set of skills. Siemens has the engineering, domain and digital know-how to generate performance improvements across the entire value chain, from design to production and operations to maintenance. Digital simulation technology accelerates the plant design, the installation and commissioning as well as the entire product design and production planning process. Multiple components in systems and plants can be intelligently networked to communicate with each other and exchange real-time data. Machine Learning makes complex systems more efficient without human intervention. The intelligent analysis of operational data helps identify patterns and predict potential downtimes. Minimum downtimes boost reliability thanks to lifecycle services. | | The Internet of Things (IoT) is rapidly taking shape. Billions of smart devices, from cars and trucks to Containers and hospital beds, will create and share data. Data permission security becomes a major concern for enterprises.
The BlackBerry IoT Platform can provide the clients that control, providing a cloud-based solution that lets clients build and manage IoT applications and devices in a secure, efficient, and scalable way.
The BlackBerry IoT Platform provides a modular architecture to rapidly add BlackBerry and third-party services into your IoT applications and, once built, a backbone for these apps and devices to communicate privately. | Many areas of our lives have already been changed by the Internet of Things, and industry is no exception. By blending the real and the virtual worlds of production via the internet, the IoT makes it possible to connect all parts of the production process: machines, products, systems, and people. This means that machines and products can communicate so they can manage themselves and each other.
Software-based system and service platforms will play a major role in tomorrow’s manufacturing; they are the only way to bring connectivity, including data analysis, to machines and workpieces in production.
Bosch's software solutions for connected manufacturing and logistics gather, visualize, analyze, and monitor machine, process, and sensor data. They then translate this data into useful information that serves as a source for their rule- and process-based actions. The transparency this creates allows clients to determine precisely where to optimize production and logistics processes along the entire value chain. |
