DESCRIPTION

Founded in 2006 in San Francisco, California, Project Frog develops component buildings that assemble easily onsite, giving architects and builders a fast and cost-effective way to create beautiful and energy-efficient buildings. Project Frog is on a mission is to revolutionize the way buildings are created by applying technology to overcome the inefficiencies of traditional construction. The company’s approach results in a structure that is measurable greener and significantly smarter, creating brighter, healthier spaces that inspire better performance by the people who occupy them. The versatile ecosystem of products adapt to all kinds of uses including: healthcare, education and retail.

ICaaS solution: Our software development is the core element of the ICaaS solution. Our core Frog cloud platform enables us to build endless design variations, and fast. These tools assist you in maintaining consistent design control and enable a rapid design-to-construction process. They create the optimal workflow for all stakeholders, delivering swift cost analysis. The final design product and documentation are PLM and DfMA ready. A full set of structural calculations for permitting, fabrication level-of-detail, and a full bill of materials (BOM) are generated directly from the design.

Kit-of-Parts platform: A Kit-of-Parts platform is designed to be a repeatable building platform. We apply our focus to developing, iterating, and refining a reusable component that can be mixed and matched to spec. This treatment of buildings as a product platform allows us to create an infinite variety of buildings. Each component is designed for manufacturing and ease of assembly on-site, known as DfMA.
